Role Overview: Provides direct patient care within established nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in ED, ICU, or GI is advantageous.
- Ability to work safely with alertness and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements: This position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness. The role involves collaboration within a specialized endoscopy department, overseeing procedures like endoscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies, supported by a team of advanced practice providers and technicians.
