Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for senior residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Key Duties
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition/communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient-centered outcomes.
- Document assessments, treatment progress, and clinical notes accurately.
- Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (or eligible per applicable requirements).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
- Expertise in therapy planning and progress monitoring.
- Effective communication, documentation, and patient/family education skills.
