Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site surgical services for approximately a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams on orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the state, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, and medical malpractice insurance.
