Full-time General Anesthesiologist position in Virginia Beach, VA, reporting to Dr. James Oleksa.
Provide anesthesia at multiple outpatient surgical centers, including patient evaluation, planning, and post-operative care. Supervise certified registered nurse anesthetists and mentor trainees. Administer and monitor general and regional anesthesia, manage airway, and respond to complications. Perform diagnostic tests, recordkeeping, and coordinate with surgical teams. Require MD/DO, VA license, BC/BE in anesthesiology, 3+ years experience, and strong regional anesthesia skills. Must demonstrate excellent communication, patient safety focus, and teamwork skills. Work involves frequent patient and staff interaction, with some stressful situations. EEO employer.
