Full-time General Anesthesiologist position in Norfolk, Virginia, reporting to Dr. James Oleksa, with supervisory responsibilities.
Provide anesthetics at multiple outpatient surgery centers throughout Virginia Beach, including patient evaluations and developing anesthesia plans. Perform general and regional anesthesia, monitor post-operative recovery, and supervise nurse anesthetists and trainees. Conduct patient assessments, manage airway and vital signs, and respond to complications. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, VA license, 3+ years of experience, and strong regional anesthesia skills. Must have excellent communication, safety focus, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Work involves frequent patient and staff interaction in a clinical setting, with some stressful situations. EEO policy applies.
