Full-time General Anesthesiologist position based in Norfolk, VA, with potential for partnership.
Provides anesthesia at multiple outpatient surgery centers throughout Virginia Beach, including patient evaluations, anesthesia administration, and post-operative care. Supervises nurse anesthetists and mentors residents, ensuring safe, effective anesthesia delivery. Performs procedures such as venous/arterial punctures, airway management, and monitors vital signs and patient recovery. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, VA license, and at least 3 years of high-acuity experience. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety skills are essential. Work involves frequent patient and staff interaction in a dynamic environment. EOE.
