Full-time General Anesthesiologist position in Virginia Beach, VA, reporting to Dr. James Oleksa.
Provide anesthesia at multiple outpatient surgical centers, including patient evaluations and developing tailored anesthetic plans. Supervise certified registered nurse anesthetists and mentor trainees. Administer and monitor general and regional anesthesia, manage post-operative care, and respond to adverse reactions. Perform procedures such as venous/arterial punctures, airway management, and patient assessments. Maintain detailed records, coordinate with surgical teams, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative stages. Requirements: MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, VA medical license, 3+ years high-acuity experience, strong regional skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
Work involves frequent patient and team interaction, with some stressful situations, in an office environment. EOE.
