The General Anesthesiologist position in Virginia Beach offers a full-time, exempt role with potential for partnership.
Provide anesthetics at multiple surgical centers, including outpatient procedures. Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor post-operative recovery. Administer and adjust general and regional anesthesia, manage airway and vital signs, and perform venous/arterial punctures. Supervise and mentor nurse anesthetists, interns, residents, and fellows. Maintain patient records, order tests, and communicate with patients and families. Requirements: MD or DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, VA license, 3+ years experience, strong regional skills, excellent communication, and a team-oriented work ethic.
