Full-time General Anesthesiologist position in Norfolk, VA, with potential for partnership.
Responsible for providing anesthesia at multiple outpatient surgical centers, conducting patient evaluations, developing anesthesia plans, and supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists.
Key duties include administering and monitoring general and regional anesthesia, performing pre- and post-operative assessments, managing airway and IV access, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, VA license, and at least 3 years of high-acuity anesthesia experience.
Must have excellent communication, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Work involves frequent interaction with patients, staff, and physicians in a dynamic, sometimes stressful environment.
