Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, utilizing EHR systems, and educating patients about treatment options and lifestyle changes. The role requires working independently and in collaboration with physicians while maintaining high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements include a Master’s or DNP degree, RN licensure in Iowa and Illinois, ACLS certification, and certification from recognized national boards (ANCC, AANP).
Preferred experience is 2-5 years in outpatient settings, with hospital or gastroenterology background advantageous; new graduates are welcome.
