Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.
Responsibilities:
Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, providing education and discharge instructions. Conducts patient assessments, establishes ongoing evaluation processes, and sets realistic discharge goals. Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education according to departmental protocols. Ensures compliance with ethical standards, maintains patient confidentiality, and adheres to policies on attendance, dress code, and infection prevention. Delivers excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, and applying service recovery principles. Participates in professional development, mandatory training, and staff meetings, while maintaining licensure and certifications. Performs additional duties as assigned and complies with organizational policies.Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Licenses and certifications including PT license and BLS. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
