Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients and their families.
Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process, administers medications, delegates and directs care by LPNs and nursing assistive personnel, verifies their competency, serves as a resource and preceptor, and assumes charge duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills: Requires strong clinical nursing skills in neonatal care, leadership abilities, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Must be knowledgeable in medication administration, patient assessment, and family support.
