Position Overview
Assist in feeding communities by performing inventory control tasks in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include counting and verifying products using handheld devices, handling obsolete inventory, and ensuring processes adhere to SOPs. Key duties involve conducting cycle counts, researching and resolving inventory variances, validating product dating, auditing inbound paperwork, responding to item check requests, and managing obsolete or at-risk inventory such as vendor returns or recalls.
Additional tasks include supervising workload distribution, monitoring activity effectiveness, and operating inventory control systems. The role requires walking significant distances, lifting products weighing up to 60 lbs, and working in cold environments.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Skills needed are good communication, teamwork, minimal supervision, and safety awareness.
