Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, aligned with nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and proactive communication within the care team. It requires assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a healing environment through patient and family education on post-treatment care and medication management.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team and patients.
- Assess patient needs comprehensively, considering cultural, emotional, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safe practice.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No minimum required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Supervision Experience: Not required.
