Role Overview:
The Float Pool Registered Nurse provides direct patient care across multiple units including Med-surg, Telemetry, ICU, and Emergency Department to support staffing and patient care needs. This role demands strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to quickly integrate into diverse care environments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
Participate in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.
Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active RN license required.
Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
Ideal candidate has up to 2 years of experience.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills are essential.
