Family Practice Obstetrics Provider

The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.

  • Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.
  • Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.
  • Provide pediatric and newborn care as part of family-centered services.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and PCMH activities.
  • Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital labor and delivery shifts.

  • Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completed family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, current medical license, board certification or eligibility, hospital privileges, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
