The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and pediatric patients within a family-centered approach. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage. Contribute to hospital call schedules for labor and delivery, including weekends and nights.Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, additional obstetric training, a valid medical license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
