Family Medicine Physician

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting, focusing on patient-centered, evidence-based practices aligned with FQHC standards and regulations.

  • Deliver direct care for all ages, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform preventive services such as exams, immunizations, screenings, and women’s health education.
  • Manage chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications, document encounters in EMR, coordinate with specialists, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise clinical staff, support compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in on-call and extended hours.
  • Qualifications include MD/DO, residency completion, board certification or eligibility, and active licensure. Preferred experience includes outpatient care, FQHC or underserved settings, and EMR proficiency. Skills required include strong clinical judgment, communication, cultural competence, and teamwork. The role involves clinical work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands and occasional travel.
