Position Overview:
The Facility Float Pool RN provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
They coordinate care across departments, working within the scope of nursing practice aligned with professional standards, organizational values, and ethical guidelines.
This role involves adapting to various shifts and locations within the Float Pool, primarily at a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform nursing duties in accordance with established standards and mission principles.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and institutional policies.
Ensure safety and proper handling of patient information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience, with recent experience preferred.
Graduation from an approved nursing program; valid RN license in the state or compact license.
BLS certification required; additional certifications as specified.
Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements.
