We are seeking a Mechanical and Project Engineer responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring facility-related projects. This role involves designing mechanical systems, managing budgets, resources, and schedules, and overseeing site activities to meet project goals on time and within budget. The engineer will support operations of mechanical systems such as chillers, pumps, and HVAC equipment, ensuring documentation, system performance, and updates for Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS). They will lead technical troubleshooting, system upgrades, and staff training to optimize facility performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating project scope documents, managing contractor selection, budgets, and schedules.
- Supporting mechanical systems operation and maintenance, including documentation and communication.
- Managing BAS/BMS specifications, updates, and performance enhancements.
- Providing technical support for electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, and training staff.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in mechanical and facility project management.
- Intermediate knowledge of control systems architecture and programming (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell).
- Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Effective communication skills, proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Working conditions: Office and industrial environments, with availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.
