Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the care team and patients.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness to ensure safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
- Experience in ED, ICU, or Cardiac settings is preferred.
