This role involves providing direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs within established nursing standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoting patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients or caregivers.
- Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing as minimum education.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Emergency Department experience is preferred.
- Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness is essential.
