Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a high acuity Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, communicating across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience and supervisory experience are preferred
- Strong critical nursing skills and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment
- Excellent communication, assessment, and patient education skills
