Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Provide person-centered care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care based on individualized support plans
- Promote choice, independence, and community integration
- Administer medications in accordance with applicable policies and procedures
- Support transportation and participation in community activities
- Maintain health and safety, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment
- Document services accurately and communicate effectively with the care team, families, and clinicians
