Diagnostic Technologist II

Role Overview: Provides diagnostic radiologic imaging under physician supervision, ensuring high-quality images and adherence to radiation safety standards. Delivers compassionate patient care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including trauma and ICU cases.


  • Responsibilities: Produces diagnostic images, processes and prepares images for interpretation, and ensures proper documentation and safety protocols. Coordinates exam scheduling, confirms physician orders, and maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures images are correctly stored in PACS, reports equipment issues, and assists in training new staff and students. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiography program or equivalent, with less than 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, radiation safety, and medical technology.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in Pennsylvania and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Ability to handle confidential information, solve problems, and operate radiation equipment effectively and safely.
