Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts standardized radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with proper patient positioning and exposure techniques.
- Operates all relevant equipment within the modality.
- Sets up immobilization and radiation protective devices.
- Analyzes patient characteristics such as body size, age, and suspected pathology to tailor examinations.
- Assists physicians during procedures.
- Reports equipment malfunctions and recommends repairs or adjustments.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation.
- Participates in quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Contributes to the education and training of students.
Qualifications and Skills: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. Knowledgeable in equipment operation, patient assessment, and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
