Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Nights

Role Overview: Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, document activities accurately.
  • Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data transfer and storage.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
  • ARTR-R registration within six months for new graduates; advancement to level 2 within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
  • Ability to perform procedures independently and assist practitioners effectively.
