Role Overview: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
- Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices.
- Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to tailor examinations.
- Assist physicians during various procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and control activities.
- Contribute to the education and training of students.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. Ability to operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, and knowledge of patient safety protocols.
