Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Days

Role Overview: The X-ray Tech I performs standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operates imaging equipment, and maintains related records.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques for radiological procedures.

Operates all modality equipment proficiently and adjusts immobilization and protective devices as needed.

Evaluates patient size, condition, and suspected pathology to ensure accurate examinations.

Assists physicians during procedures and reports equipment malfunctions.

Maintains documentation and participates in quality assurance activities.

Contributes to educational training of students.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a specialized Radiologic Technology training program, with knowledge of equipment operation and patient assessment. Ability to work in a clinical environment, follow policies, and collaborate effectively.
