Role Overview: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating related equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
- Set up and adjust immobilization devices and radiation protective equipment.
- Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to ensure appropriate examination approaches.
- Assist physicians with various procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation.
- Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
- Contribute to the educational training of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
- Knowledge of operation of radiology equipment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and patient care procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to assist in procedures and participate in quality initiatives.
