Ultrasound Technologist needed to perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic exams in an acute care, fast-paced environment.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and other ultrasound studies.
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and optimize image quality.
- Verify orders and follow established clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate, patient-centered care.
- Document exam details and findings in PACS/EMR.
- Maintain strict safety, infection-control, and patient safety standards.
- Support a patient-first culture, mentor newer staff, and contribute to education and quality improvement.
Qualifications/Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic sonography techniques, strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail for documentation and protocol compliance, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
