Dental Assistant / Preventive Care Specialist
Provide preventive dental care to patients, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, polishing, and the application of fluoride and sealants.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and record patient histories and assess periodontal health.
- Perform preventive procedures such as cleanings, scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride/sealant applications.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and nutrition to support long-term dental health.
- Collaborate with dentists to support ongoing patient treatment and care plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of preventive dental procedures and basic periodontal assessment.
- Ability to accurately document patient information and monitor oral health indicators.
- Excellent patient communication and education skills.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to assist dentists effectively.
