Role Overview:
A Dental Hygienist is a clinical provider and patient advocate, integral to the patient care team, focused on delivering high-quality, lifelong oral health education and care. This role involves working collaboratively in a patient-focused environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and supporting patients’ dental health needs.
Responsibilities:
Providing preventative care, periodontal therapy, and patient education
Utilizing digital tools such as x-rays and scanners
Maintaining accurate medical histories and documentation
Educating patients on oral health and promoting lifelong habits
Collaborating with the team to ensure exceptional patient experiences
Qualifications & Skills:
Licensed Dental Hygienist in IN with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
CPR certification
Preferred: 1+ years of clinical experience and familiarity with digital dentistry tools
Outgoing, team-oriented, and committed to ongoing learning and growth
Key Duties & Requirements:
Performing clinical duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Prolonged sitting and standing; lifting up to 45 pounds
Participating in periodic training sessions
Completing TB testing prior to employment where applicable
