Dental Assistant
Provide front-line patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and educating them on oral health. Review and update patients’ health histories, ensuring accurate documentation.
Support clinical care by taking diagnostic images, assisting dentists during examinations and procedures, and maintaining a safe, organized treatment environment.
Maintain treatment rooms and records, follow office protocols, and contribute to smooth, efficient operations.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures and assisting tasks
- Ability to take diagnostic dental images (certification may be required by state law)
- Dental assisting competence; certification may be required by state law
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Attention to detail for health history review and accurate recordkeeping
- Ability to assist during dental procedures and maintain treatment rooms
