Role: Performs CT procedures to acquire diagnostic digital images under radiologist supervision, using advanced technology and protocols.
Responsibilities: Operates CT scanners, injectors, and computer systems; maintains protocols aligned with safety guidelines; prepares patients, positions them correctly, and ensures proper shielding. Performs CT interventional and CTA imaging, including advanced studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging. Manages clinical histories and matches appropriate protocols, ensuring dose safety and image quality. Interprets technical factors to optimize scan quality and speed. Ensures compliance with organizational policies and maintains knowledge of physics, pharmacology, and physiology to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program; proficiency in operating multiple CT systems; strong understanding of anatomy, vascular, and organ systems; knowledge of dose reduction techniques and safety standards. Effective communication and technical skills required.
