Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist with weekend options and mid-shift hours. This advanced modality technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, including on-call and portable exams, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) and/or CT preferred
- Experience in CT, Radiology, or related medical imaging fields is advantageous
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), RT(R), CT, MR, and others as applicable
- Additional certifications like CPR and IV Therapy are preferred for experienced candidates
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and imaging equipment
- Perform diagnostic studies accurately and independently
- Contribute to quality assurance and safety protocols
