CT Technologist – PRN

Role Overview:

This position is for a PRN CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and interventional techniques. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
  • Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
  • Minimum of 1 year CT experience; preferred 2+ years.
  • Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
  • Experience with advanced imaging modalities and procedures is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks, with a flexible schedule.
  • CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are preferred.

Key Duties:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and uphold quality standards.
