Maintains proficiency with multiple CT systems across various locations and adheres to dose management protocols, including notification for scans exceeding preset levels.
Obtains images by preparing, positioning, immobilizing patients, and selecting appropriate technical factors.
Performs CT-guided interventional procedures and specialized imaging such as CTA, TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies.
Possesses knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and physics to ensure high-quality scans, patient safety, and dose reduction.
Interprets technical parameters to optimize scan quality and speed.
Works in a clinical environment, complying with policies and ensuring quality standards.
Requires graduation from a specialty training program.
