Job Summary
Performs CT procedures to acquire diagnostic digital images, ensuring protocols adhere to clinical guidelines and dose management standards. Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems at multiple locations, maintaining expertise across various systems. Maintains knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, and physiology to select appropriate protocols for different systems, including Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro, and Musculoskeletal. Ensures proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and protective shielding. Conducts CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies. Utilizes physics knowledge to optimize image quality while minimizing patient dose and interprets technical factors to enhance scan efficiency. Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and dose monitoring protocols based on established guidelines. Demonstrates proficiency in pharmacology and physiology to support accurate imaging. Works within a clinical environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Requires graduation from a Specialty Training Program and the ability to provide patient-centered care across different age groups.
