Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT). The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations, and ensuring quality control. The technologist works in outpatient oncology settings, with no call, weekends, or holidays required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT (preferred)
- 1+ year CT experience (preferred)
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and others like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
- Strong knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, and advanced imaging modalities
