CT Technologist – Nights

Role Overview: Performs CT procedures to acquire diagnostic images, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems, ensuring adherence to protocols based on clinical criteria and safety guidelines. Maintains knowledge of multiple CT systems, clinical histories, and anatomy across various systems including thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise in imaging, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety measures.
  • Performs advanced CT procedures, including CTA imaging and interventional procedures.
  • Maintains protocols aligned with safety standards, such as Image Gently Guidelines, and monitors dose data to prevent overexposure.
  • Ensures image quality by interpreting technical factors and adjusting parameters accordingly.
  • Possesses knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to optimize scans and patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Ability to operate multiple CT systems at different locations.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, physics, and pharmacology relevant to CT imaging.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality, and adherence to established protocols.
