Role: CT Technologist I, performing CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment under supervision.
Responsibilities: Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems; maintain protocols aligned with safety guidelines and dose monitoring; prepare and position patients, ensuring proper immobilization and shielding.
Perform advanced CT imaging including CTA and interventional procedures, with knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and physics to optimize image quality and minimize patient dose.
Obtain and interpret images based on clinical protocols, ensuring accurate technical factors and image quality.
Maintain knowledge of multiple CT systems across locations and stay updated on evolving technology and safety standards.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required); Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
Skills & Attributes: Technical proficiency in CT imaging, patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to operate various CT systems.
Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and imaging physics.
