Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Nights) responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in computed tomography (CT), on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and ensuring quality control. It offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and no call requirements. The technologist must be certified in radiography or CT, with preferred experience in advanced imaging modalities such as MRI, interventional procedures, or mammography, and hold relevant licenses and certifications including ARRT, CT, MR, or other radiologic credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on CT technology.
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies.
- Conduct studies independently, including during on-call and portable exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent trade school training.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in radiology or related fields.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), ARRT, CT, MR, or equivalent.
- Additional certifications like CPR and IV therapy are advantageous.
