Role: CT Technologist I, with potential to advance to CT Technologist II based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
- Administer ionizing radiation and medications following federal, state, and institutional policies.
- Ensure correct patient identification, proper preparation, and accurate documentation of clinical history.
- Optimize imaging protocols, maintain patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles.
- Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with interventional procedures.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to starting.
- Completion of a radiologic technology training program; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform or assist with advanced imaging procedures and work independently.
