Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), primarily during overnight shifts. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, independently conduct studies, and manage on-call, portable, and site-specific exams. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization is required, with preferred experience of at least 2 years and relevant licenses. The role emphasizes proficiency in advanced imaging techniques, patient care, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Conduct studies independently across various settings, including on-call and portable exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and/or CT.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in radiology or related fields.
- Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV therapy certifications are advantageous.
