CT Technologist – Night Shift

Role: CT Technologist I responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.


Key Duties:

  • Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner supervision.
  • Evaluate image quality, verify data storage and transfer, and perform post-processing as needed.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with and perform CT procedures as prescribed by licensed practitioners.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) upon hire.
  • New graduates must obtain ARRT-R or NMTCB certification prior to employment.
  • Strong understanding of radiologic technology, patient care, and radiation safety.

Education: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
