Seeking a full-time Imaging Technician with weekend night shifts (Friday to Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:00am).
Responsibilities include:
– Performing computerized imaging procedures (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy).
– Operating and monitoring imaging equipment.
– Assisting patients and physicians as needed.
– Troubleshooting computer software related to imaging.
– Providing physical and psychological support to patients, considering their limitations.
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s in Radiologic Technology preferred).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Licenses and certifications such as ARRT, NMTCB, or FL DOH licenses in radiography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy, with ongoing certification requirements.
- Less than one year of experience in computerized imaging or recent graduate of a CT certification program.
- Preferred: One year of radiology or CT imaging experience.
