CT Technologist Float – Per Diem

Role Overview: CT Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquiring and analyzing data for diagnosis and intervention, often assisting licensed practitioners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and clinical history documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care quality.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner guidance.
  • Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and perform post-processing as needed.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional procedures.
  • Perform prescribed CT procedures, demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills: Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT required. Must have graduated from a radiologic technology training program; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Work is performed in a clinical setting, adhering to organizational policies.
