CT Technologist Float – Per Diem

Role Overview:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, and assisting licensed practitioners. They ensure patient safety, proper identification, and preparation, while adhering to protocols and ALARA principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, and document clinical history confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical settings, and evaluate image quality.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per legal and institutional guidelines.
  • Assist in interventional procedures and educate students and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in all duties.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
    • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT certification required.
    • Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Strong technical skills, attention to safety, and ability to work independently.
