CT Technologist – Evening Shift

Job Summary:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform CT and molecular imaging procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis and intervention, and assist licensed practitioners. Responsibilities include patient preparation, ensuring proper imaging protocols, optimizing technical factors with a focus on ALARA principles, evaluating image quality, and documenting activities such as medication and radiation exposure. They also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, support interventional procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Duties:

  • Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history confidentially.
  • Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and data transfer.
  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Assist with interventional procedures and perform prescribed CT scans.
  • Educate team members and participate in quality/process improvements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex tasks, complying with organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT certification.
  • Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiation safety principles.
  • Ability to educate others, work independently, and participate in quality initiatives.
